I’ve been eying their sign board on my way to work for a quite a while and decided to go there for lunch with some friends. Really liked the unique theme they had going; it’s not everyday you get to sip on a mojito from a skull.
Even though it’s got a tiny space, they made sure all the walls were covered with eerie artwork and graffiti.
Soon as you wake in, this little guy jumps out of this cage just to greet you. Cute right? 🙂
We ordered 3 of their signature burgers:
Spikes Burger: Beef patty topped with jalapenos, lettuce, tomato, and just the right amount of cheese. Couldn’t tell what the green sauce was exactly made of and nobody would tell me.. but it really added an extra spiciness to this burger!
Rating: 4/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Draco Burger: Classic beef burger with a twist. Served with the secret purple sauce.Tastes as good as it looks!
Rating: 3/5 🌟🌟🌟
Nightmare burger: An amazing combination of the above with BEEF BACON! The bun was fluffy, the beef patty was juicy, and they didn’t hold back on the sauces either.
Rating: 3/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟
On the downside, I think they could’ve done a better job with their mojitos. It felt like we drinking extremely sweet 7up mixed with food coloring. It did not compliment our meals the way we’d hoped.
Cool things you need to know about Nightmare Cafe:
🍔 They know how to make a mean burger without drilling a hole in your pocket.
🍔 They offer local delicacies such as Lgymat, Chebab and good old paratha wraps (plus a cup of Karak tea to go with it). You should definitely go here if you’re craving fresh mini parathas to snack on; that way you get you enjoy what you love without the guilt of messing up on your diet ruining your day.
🍔The waitresses dress up in spooky costumes in the evenings which makes this a good place to take kids for dinner.
🍔They have the sweetest staff that will help you add props to make your photos stand out.
I was told they’ll be adding waffles to their menu soon; so you know I’m definitely going back!
